Person Centred Services
(PCS)
Person Centred Services, or PCS as it is better known, is directly linked to the Better Lives Vision and Strategy. It is key to ensuring that the work we do is being directly influenced by the people we work for - our service users!
PCS Core Principals:
- Ensure that all service users are placed at the centre of all strategic and procedural development
- Develop a totally inclusive approach for all service user groups, regardless of individual abilities or differences, and in accordance with individual needs and aspirations
- Ensure the right staff are motivated and angaged in all of the different strands of PCS (see "Who Is Involved") and that we tap into the extensive skills and expertise of our staff and external partners
- More effective promotion and communication of all PCS and Better Lives initiatives, activities and opportunities
